— Vienna talks would yield no result unless US, Europe pursue realistic approach: Iran FM
Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said he hopes that the United States and European parties to a 2015 nuclear deal will pursue a realistic approach to the scheduled talks later this month in Vienna so that the talks would culminate in results quickly.
In a phone call with China’s State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Saturday, Amir-Abdollahian added that the US cannot claim to be interested in the talks while it is still persisting on its failed ‘maximum pressure’ policy and economic terrorism against Iran.
— Iran crude oil output up 0.8% in September: OPEC sources
Latest figures by the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) showed that Iran’s crude oil output rose slightly in September to reach 2.5 million barrels per day (mbd).
The figures, published in a report by Fars News Agency, showed that Iran’s September oil output had increased by 21,000 bpd, or 0.84%, compared to production figures reported in August.
OPEC gathers its crude output data based on information provided by secondary sources.
Monthly output tables provided by the organization this year have shown that Iran has managed to increase its crude production against figures reported in 2020.

— Iranian Freestylers Win Four Medals in U23 WWC
Iranian freestyle wrestlers have claimed four medals in the penultimate day of the U23 World Championships in Belgrade, Serbia.
Amirali Azarpira won a gold medal in the 97kg weight class after beating Radu Lefter of Moldova 7-3.
The bronze medal went to American Jonathan Aiello and Ukraine’s Danylo Stasiuk.
In the 57kg class, Ahmad Muhammadnejad seized a bronze medal. Azerbaijan’s Aliabbas Rzazade won the gold medal in the class after defeating Kyrgyzstan’s Bekbolot Myrzanazar Uulu.
Aliakbar Fazli won a bronze in the 70kg. Ernazar Akmataliev of Kyrgyzstan beat Armenian Vazgen Tevanyan to win gold.
And Ali Savadkouhi took Iran’s third bronze medal in the competition in the 79kg. Magomed Magomaev defeated Ramazan Sari of Turkey in the final.
— IRICA: Over $1mn of Farmed Caviar Exported
Spokesman for the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) Seyyed Rouhollah Latifi on Sunday said that the country exported 2,282 kg of farmed caviar, valued at $1.085.674, in the last Iranian calendar year (ended March 20, 2021).
Latifi said in the same period, the Islamic Republic of Iran exported 560, 220, 202, 201 and 199 kg of caviar to the countries including United Arab Emirates (UAE), Germany, Japan, Belgium and Spain respectively.
Turning to the export of caviar in the first half of the current Iranian calendar year (from March 21 to Sep. 22), Latifi stated that the country exported 1,268 kg of caviar, valued at $539,490, to other countries in the first six months of the current year.

— “Hope Puppet” born to heal wounds of coronavirus in Iran
Iran has launched a puppet making festival to bring back hope to the people who have been afflicted physically or mentally amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Hope Puppet International Festival will be organized by the Dramatic Arts Department of the University of Tehran and the Research Institute of Cultural Heritage and Tourism.
— Nearly 150,000 tons of car tires produced in 7 months
Iranian tire manufacturers produced 149,371 tons of the product during the first seven months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21-October 22) to register a three-percent drop compared to the same period of time in the past year.
Over 13,784 million tires were produced during the seven-month period of this year, indicating a four-percent decline in terms of number, IRNA reported. According to the statistics, in the mentioned period, 85,907 tons of passenger cars were produced, showing five percent fall year on year.

The 5th International Health Congress of Islamic Countries has brought together tens of representatives, experts, travel insiders, and private investors from its member states to discuss ways to develop medical tourism during the three-day event, which opened in Tehran on Sunday.
Being held at IRIB International Conference Center, the congress seeks to find new opportunities for cooperation and development of health tourism among Muslim nations, according to organizers.
The event is organized by the Health Tourism Development Center of Islamic Countries (HTDC) and supported by ministries, federations, institutions, and organizations in health tourism as well as private and governmental health service providers.
