Yemen’s Ansarollah Movement spokesman Muhammad Abdul-Salam said that the country’s relationship with Iran is of high importance and respected, praising Iran’s support of Yemeni people.
The talks between Iran and Saudi Arabia would decrease tensions, but what happens in Yemen is a domestic issue, he said in an interview on Sunday.
He said that the United States support al-Qaida and the ISIS in Marib, Yemen, but popular forces have reclaimed many areas in this region.
Abdul-Salam criticized UN Special Envoy on Yemen, saying the he couldn’t act outside policies of US, UK, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.
Yemen has been in a devastating war since over six years ago when Saudi Arabia and allied Arab states invaded the country, blocking all land, aviation, and maritime ways to the Yemen.
Thousands of Yemenis have so far died as a consequence of Saudi-imposed war which has result in big humanitarian crisis.
