Managing Director of the Iranian Oil Terminals Company (IOTC) said the first shipment of Iranian oil has been uploaded in the Jask port which was inaugurated by the Iranian President Hassan Rouhani just a few days ago.
Abbas Assadrooz added that the loading of 650,000 barrels of crude oil for export ended on Sunday morning at Jask Port.
He added that the IOTC is fully ready for uploading its 2nd cargo of crude oil for export via Jask Port, which will happen in next couple of days.
The national project for transferring the crude oil from Gureh-Jask oil fields to world markets through Jask Port by the Sea of Oman both guarantees the safe export of Iranian oil and also contributes to decentralizing the country’s oil export outletss and diversifying its export terminals.
This in turn also contributes in enhancing country’s negotiation capabilities, sustainable development, and creating more new jobs for local people.
