A delegation of Iranian diplomats, led by Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, has travelled to Muscat to hold indirect negotiations with the US, brokered by Oman.
Araqchi and his Omani counterpart Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi held a meeting on Saturday morning.
The top Omani diplomat briefed Araqchi on the arrangements and preparations made by his country for the indirect talks with the US.
For his part, Araqchi informed Al Busaidi about Iran’s stances and the topics under consideration that need to be relayed to the US team.
He also hailed Oman’s responsible attitude towards the regional developments, saying the fact that Muscat is hosting the indirect negotiations between Iran and the US indicates the sultanate’s stance.
