Bagheri considered the targeting of civilian targets, including the bombing and destruction of schools, mosques, hospitals, and other urban infrastructure and facilities, and the brutal killing of civilians in Gaza over the past ten months, as a clear example of war crimes, crimes against humanity, and the genocide of Palestinians by the Zionist regime.
The Iranian acting Foreign Minister introduced the aid of America and some other western countries to the criminal gang ruling in Tel Aviv on the one hand and the silence and passivity of some other Western countries against the obvious crime of this racist regime on the other hand as the main cause of this unbearable situation.
Criticizing the protectionist approach of the Westerners in the recent meeting of the United Nations Security Council, which prevented this council from fulfilling its duty in dealing effectively and deterring the violator of international security and stability, i.e. the Zionist regime, Bagheri stated: Experience has shown that silence against the military and security brutality of the Zionists makes this evil creature even more insolent.
In this conversation, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan also expressed concern about the increase in tensions in the West Asian region and considered calming the situation and reducing the level of tensions in line with the interests of all parties.
Ali Bagheri and Yōko Kamikawa also emphasized the importance of continuing political and diplomatic dialogues between the two countries to advance bilateral cooperation and promote regional peace, stability, and security.
