Palestine solidarity rallies continuing Worldwide

Protesters from Middle East to Europe and the United States have taken to the streets to demand an end to Israel’s bombardment of Gaza after 17 days of intense air and artillery attacks that Palestinian authorities say have killed more than 4,700 people, including more than 1,756 children.

Despite these brutal killings by Zionist regime, some Western governments have voiced support for Israel’s military campaign. Many Muslim states have called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, with many of their people angry at humanitarian conditions in the besieged territory and expressing solidarity with Palestinians.

Thousands of people waving Palestinian flags and chanting “Gaza, Paris is with you” gathered on Sunday for the first pro-Palestinian demonstration allowed by police in the French capital since the Oct. 7 Hamas attacks on Israel.

Around 15,000 people turned out at the Place de la Republique, according to police figures, to express solidarity with Palestinians and to call for a ceasefire as the death toll from Israeli strikes in Gaza rose to more than 4,700.aris

In the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur, thousands of people have rallied to express solidarity with Palestinians amid Israel’s ongoing bombardment of Gaza.

Protesters who gathered in Kuala Lumpur’s Independence Square on Sunday wore the keffiyeh, a traditional Palestinian scarf, and carried placards calling for peace in Palestine and an end to the United States’ support of the Israeli military.

Streets around Australia were a sea of red, white, black and green on Sunday as tens of thousands of people marched in solidarity with Palestine.

Brisbane and Perth had their largest ever Palestine solidarity protests. Estimated crowds of 4,500 and 6,000 rallied to demand an end to Israel’s criminal siege and bombing of Gaza. Nearly 1,000 people came out in Canberra, and more than 15,000 marched in Sydney and Melbourne.

London witnessed massive pro-Palestine demonstrations as thousands people took to the streets to express their solidarity. They held placards displaying messages including “Stop Bombing Gaza,” “Stop Apartheid Israel,” and “From the River to the Sea, Palestine Will Be Free,” while the Palestinian flag was prominently displayed.

An estimated 6,000 people took to the streets in Jordan’s capital Amman to protest against the continuing attack on Gaza, some chanting slogans calling for Hamas to intensify its attacks against Israel.

Hundreds of Iraqi protesters gathered at the western Trebil border crossing near Jordan.

Thousands of Egyptians demonstrated in cities and towns across the North African country in an expression of solidarity with Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip.
