— Better ties with Persian Gulf states, ‘without any exceptions’: Iran FM
Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said Monday that Iran seeks good ties will all regional nations, including Persian Gulf littoral states, “without any exceptions”.
“There are no limits and exceptions for establishing good relations with the countries of the region,” Amir-Abdollahian said of Iran’s approach to cooperation with Persian Gulf Arab states as he met with Oman’s Deputy Prime Minister Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said during an official visit to Muscat.
— Joint concert held in Beijing to mark 50th anniversary of Iran-China ties
A joint concert of artists from Iran and China was held in Beijing on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. ‘My Mother Is Iran,’ composed by Ali Rahbari, was among the other pieces of music that were performed at the National Theater of China.
Organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People’s Republic of China and the Islamic Culture and Communication Organization of Iran, the concert was held to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral diplomatic ties.
— Iran expands contract farming of wheat to nearly 150,000 hectares of land
Iran’s Agriculture Ministry said contract farming for wheat expanded to cover nearly 150,000 hectares of lands in the country amid efforts by the government to promote the method to both boost agriculture production and to protect farmers against price fluctuations and other risks in the market.
A senior official in Iran’s Government Trading Corporation (GTC), the body responsible for supply of staples in the country, said that contract farming was implemented in seven out of 31 provinces in the country.

— Source dismisses report on ‘2-year deal’ in Vienna talks
A source close to the Iranian nuclear team has dismissed as “fake” a report claiming that Tehran and the P4+1 group (Russia, China, France, Britain and Germany) have agreed on an interim two-year deal in the Vienna talks intended to lift sanctions on Iran.
The source told Tasnim in Vienna that the report is “utterly false and fake”.
The London-based Rai al-Youm newspaper has claimed that Iran and the negotiating partners have completed a two-year deal by which the U.S. would lift all sanctions placed on Iran during the Trump administration and all of Iran’s enriched uranium would be shipped to Russia in return.
— Iran’s rowing league held at Azadi Lake
The first round of the 7th edition of the Iran rowing league was held on Sunday in Tehran’s Azadi Lake. Brazilian rowing coach Pedro Sena attended the competition.
The Iranian men and women rowers participated in the competition. The rowers prepare for the 2022 Asian Games in Hangzhou, China.

— Amir-Abdollahian to Visit China by End of Week
— Iran’s Foreign Minister Hussein Amir-Abdollahian will visit China by the end of the week to discuss the 25-year strategic agreement signed by the two countries, the spokesman of the foreign ministry told a news conference in Tehran on Monday. The visit was announced as the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council also sent delegations to China. On Saturday, the Chinese foreign ministry said that foreign ministers from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain as well as GCC secretary general Nayef Falah al-Hajraf would visit China from Monday at Beijing’s invitation, with energy supply security among the data-x-items on the agenda.
— Iran, Russia Ties Evolve Into Strategic Partnership
Iran’s exports to Russia in the first nine months of the current Persian year which ends on March 20 increased by 58%, including 62% in agricultural and food products, a review of trade between the two countries shows.
Iran has a maritime border with Russia, which is the largest country in the world in terms of size, through the Caspian Sea. Iran in the south and Russia in the north of the Caspian Sea – each with strategic access to the world’s free zones and open seas – have extended neighbors.
According to statistics, Iran exported 828,602 tonnes of goods worth $432 million to Russia in the first nine months of the current Persian year. It also imported 2.7 million tonnes of goods worth $ 1.2 billion from Russia in the period.

Iranian men’s National Futsal Team, its coach and several male and female players were selected among global top 10 list by Futsalplanet.com.
The website which annually publishes the world’s top 10 in different categories as best men’s and women’s players, best coaches, and best national teams, announced the 2021 list in which Iranians have significant presence.
Iran’s Men’s National Team was chosen among the 10 best national futsal teams of the world and Mes Sungun and Palayesh teams were respectively among the 10 best men’s club and the 10 best women’s club.
