Speaking in the cabinet meeting, Raisi said that the priority should be to support domestic centers involved in producing the COVID-19 vaccines, because imports cannot last forever.
He also noted that increasing the scope of vaccination program would satisfy expectations of families and pave the way to reopen schools and hold in person classes.
It is imperative that the country restores activities in educational centers and businesses to the normal level in a reasonable and incremental manner, the President underscored.
Raisi said that in recent meetings of his foreign minister with counterparts, considerable preparedness and willingness was seen in neighbor countries and other states to cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Technical and engineering services, with regards to Iranian experts’ capabilities, could be one of the best grounds for Iran to expand regional and international cooperation, he went on to say.
He also touched on the issue of women and family, saying that it is a pivotal topic for the current administration and tasking the Vice Presidency for Women and Family Affairs with preparing a comprehensive plan to control vulnerabilities in this sphere.
The President also praised firefighters for their sacrifice on the occasion of national Day of Firefighting.
