Saeed Afrooz claims gold medal in javelin throw

NAKHOST NEWS – Saeed Afrooz won a gold medal in javelin – F34 category in Tokyo Paralympics 2020.

Afrooz claimed the gold medal on Wednesday with a throw of 40.05 meters, breaking the world and Paralympic record.

He competed with other shooters from China, Morocco, France, Colombia, New Guinea, Tunisia, and Iraq.

Mauricio Valencia and Diego Meneses from Colombia received silver and bronze medals with throws of 38.84m and 37.11m respectively.
