NAKHOST NEWS – Speaking with the President of Nicaragua, Daniel Ortega, on Tuesday night by telephone, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi stated that the coincidence of the Islamic Revolution of Iran with the Nicaraguan Revolution paves the way for strengthening the ties between the two nations, adding, “Iran’s foreign policy approach to improve ties with Latin America and the Caribbean, include Nicaragua”.
President Raisi pointed out, “The common opinion of the two nations of Iran and Nicaragua in opposing US hegemony is a valuable asset for interaction and convergence in the international arena in order to defend the national sovereignty of independent countries and nations”.
The President said, “Close cooperation between the two countries in international forums is necessary to neutralize US sanctions and to make the US regime’s actions against independent countries and nations, especially Iran and Nicaragua, costly”.
In this telephone call, the President of Nicaragua, Daniel Ortega, stated that his country would continue to strengthen and develop relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran, saying, “Today, the United States openly targets Latin American countries with its various attacks. They targeted the alliance that united us with the Islamic Republic of Iran. Therefore in these circumstances, it is very important to maintain unity and strengthen the solidarity of the two nations”.
“Given the growing awareness in the nations of the world today, we must strengthen the path of fight for peace and justice on the world stage by strengthening relations,” said Daniel Ortega.
