Serbian speaker to attend Iran President-elect inauguration

President of the National Assembly of Serbia Ivica Dačić has confirmed his participation as representative of President Aleksandar Vučić in the inauguration ceremony of Iran’s President-elect Ebrahim Raisi which is slated for August 5.

Speaking in a meeting with Iranian Ambassador to Serbia Rashid Hassan Pour, Dačić expressed satisfaction over the good relations between Iran and Serbia.

He also stressed developing parliamentary cooperation between two countries.

Meanwhile, Hassan Pour emphasized promoting economic cooperation.

Both sides discussed health issues and the decisions made in line with fighting COVID19.

They also stressed the fact that grounds have been prepared for establishing extensive cooperation between Tehran and Belgrade.

Judiciary Chief Ebrahim Raisi was announced as the winner of the June 18 presidential election in Iran, scoring 17,926,345 of votes.
