Iranian and Russian companies ‘Nasr’ and ’AVZ S-P’ signed a veterinary production agreement on Friday in a meeting attended by senior Iranian officials.
Dring the meeting, Abd al-Rahim Motahhari, president of Nasr company, and Alexander Tivliyanov, Business Development Director at AVZ S-P company, signed the agreement, based on which the two companies agreed to produce five veterinary drugs and sell it within Russia or export it to foreign countries.
Motahhari said that these five drugs will be half developed in Iran and sent to Russia for final production. “If the number of drugs reaches 20 items, the value of agreement will be 2.5 million dollars,” he added.
Tivliyanov expressed content over making the agreement with Nasr company, saying that AVZ S-P develops over 300 veterinary drugs, exporting them to over 20 countries.
Kazem Jalali, Iran’s Ambassador in Russia, also attended the meeting, hoping the cooperation would be a kickstart to elevate the value of the agreement.
The deal to sign the agreement was reached in a knowledge-based companies conference entitled ‘Iran Innovation House’ held by Iran in Moscow to make an environment for Iranian and Russian companies to explore cooperation grounds.
