Minister of External Affairs of India Subrahmanyam Jaishankar met with Iran’s President-elect and conveyed Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s written message to him.
Jaishankar has traveled to Iran to deliver Prime Minister Modi’s written message to the Iranian President-elect.
The visiting Indian foreign minister met and conferred with the Iranian counterpart Mohamad Javad Zarif as well.
During the meeting, the two foreign ministers exchanged views on issues of mutual interest as well as a number of topics including latest regional developments, particularly the situation in Afghanistan, the perspective for Vienna nuclear talks, bilateral cooperation in roads and transportation and India’s infrastructure activities in Iran’s Chabahar.
