Iranian newly-appointed ambassador to London Mohsen Baharvand is scheduled to begin his activity as of Tuesday.
Baharvand used to serve as deputy foreign minister for legal and international affairs.
He will replace Hamid Baeidinejad.
Iran’s chargé d’affaires to the UK Mehdi Hosseini Matin wrote on his personal Twitter account on Sunday that Baharvand is due in London later today.
Baharvand will then begin his activity as Iran’s new ambassador in UK on Tuesday after submitting a copy of his credentials to Queen Elizabeth II, Hosseini Matin said.
