Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said that he has not had contact with Steve Witkoff, the US Special Envoy for the Middle East.
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a cabinet meeting on Wednesday, Araghchi addressed a report by the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Jarida, which claimed that recent communications had occurred between him and Witkoff concerning the resumption of nuclear talks.
The report alleged that both parties agreed on the necessity of returning to the negotiation table.
