Speaking to the IRNA on Wednesday, Elahian said that the recent meeting of the Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi with the members of a committee aimed at investigating various aspects of the 2022 riots.
She added that an online system will be formed so that the information of the injured families, the dead, the families of the martyrs, security officers and security defenders, and those who have complaints or objections in this regard, will be uploaded into the system and dealt with.
This member of the Iranian Parliament said that this committee will soon issue a statement in which it will explain the necessary issues regarding the riots in 2022.
The unrest followed the death of a young Iranian woman, Mahsa Amini, who died in hospital on September 16 last year, days after she collapsed at a police station in Tehran. Iran’s Legal Medicine Organization issued a report, saying Amini’s death was caused by prior illness rather than alleged blows to her head.
