The 346 new rolling stocks included 339 freight wagons, two locomotives and five carriage wagons, according to the IRNA Saturday report.
The ceremony on joining new rolling stocks worth 10,090 billion rials to the country’s railway network was held in Tehran in the presence of senior officials at the Railways of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The number of new rolling stocks which has been added to the country’s railway network shows eight percent growth in the first three months of the Iranian calendar year (started on March 21, 2023) while being compared with that of in the preceding year.
