Iran, and the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA) endorsed an agreement at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday.
Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and the Secretary-General of APA endorsed an agreement between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the APA at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tehran.
The Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA) was born in 2006 at the Seventh Session of the Association of Asian Parliamentary for Peace (AAPP). In other words, the APA is a continuation of an organization that was established in 1999. The APA comprised, in 2007, 41 Member Parliaments and 17 observers.
The APA aims at reinforcing freedom, equality, justice, social welfare, security, stability, peace, friendship, and convergence in Asia.
